Comparisons to other devices

To compare with other transcranial devices, the Duo Coronet uses more powerful LEDs and because of this has a higher power and thus greater penetration into the brain tissue. As well, the evidence is that penetration is improved by lights all over the head - it seems that there is an additive effect - the greater the light coverage, the deeper the penetration.

The Duo Coronet is being used in ongoing research.

Early results have shown that each of the Duo Coronet’s wavelengths penetrate well into the brain. We know that no other devices can achieve this degree of penetration because they simply don’t have the power.

The Duo Coronet uses the most effective wavelengths. Having two wavelengths in sequence, the visible red 670nm and the infrared 810nm has been shown to be more effective than either on their own or both shone together. 670mm has the best effect on mitochondrial function at-cell, and 810nm is almost as good at-cell but has the added benefit of being able to penetrate further into brain tissues.

670nm also has special qualities as it is the wavelength used by brain cells to communicate with each other. They are able to create and send 670nm pulses - called biophotons - to each other and this wavelength is associated with cell health. Using other wavelengths in the red spectrum is not as effective.

By stimulating all parts of the brain, with full transcranial light coverage using wavelengths that have the strongest cellular effect and best tissue penetration profile, ailing neural networks in the brain are reached and improved by the Duo Coronet. We believe that this is a big part of the Duo Coronet’s enhanced effect on a wide range of symptoms.

People who have used other devices and then moved to a Duo Coronet have found that they get further improvements.

And of course, there is the intranasal CoroNase with the same powerful LEDs as used in the Duo Coronet. This significantly increases the light coverage and light penetration over and under the brain.

Finally – and this is a clincher for many people – the Duo Coronet is the easiest and most comfortable to wear and use, and it doesn’t mess with your hairstyle.
